Are you a stamp dealer?
No. Years ago I collected stamps. I also put together packets or small collections of topicals that I would trade with other collectors. I thought I had found new homes for all of my stamps, but in my storeroom I found a large box that contained several albums and some of my old topical packets.

How do you obtain your excavated relics?
A number of years ago I met a digger at a militaria show and bought a few of the smaller relics he had found with his metal detector. Through him I met several other diggers. I established a rapport with them and started purchasing some of their smaller items. I used these items to create my framed descriptive displays. My ancient artifacts all come from the same source - a large wholesaler in England who supplies dealers and museums.

Where do you get your autographs?
The vast majority of my autographs are obtained during personal interviews, at reunions, militaria shows, etc. Occasionally I will purchase collections from collectors in Europe. All of my non-military autographs were part of collections or vintage autograph books I acquired for the militaria autographs that were part of that collection.
