The House of Gutenberg was established in Houston, Texas in late 1959. In 1979 we moved to Lufkin, Texas-deep in the heart of East Texas. While we started creating our displays in 1959, our major business was the ownership and operating of a small commercial print shop. When we sold that shop and retired in 1995 we started concentrating on our displays and expanding our line. Today we have hundreds of displays ready to ship. We create new ones as we find the elements to use. We also create similar custom displays. Approximately 75% of our business comes from individuals with the balance coming from gift shops and other resellers across the country.
